ABBEY BIKE TOOLS Modular Bearing Press Kit

The Abbey Bike Tools modular bearing press kit is significantly different from other press kits as it features a thrust bearing in the press head. This makes the pressing action almost independent of torque, allowing for an extremely smooth installation process.

The shaft uses an ACME thread, and because the thread diameter is uniform, it is easier to press the bearings in straight. The retainer on the opposite side of the press (bottom of the shaft) is a quick-release nut, which can be slid to your desired position and clicked into place.
*The quick-release nut needs to be used a few times to "break it in."
