[How to Set Up A.DUGAST TLR Clincher]
This is a 100% cotton casing product. For cotton tires, use only ammonia-free sealant.
Before installation, make sure the rim is the correct size for the tire.
- Remove debris and old sealant from the inside of the rim.
- Use tubeless rim tape that is suitable for tubeless tires and for the air pressure indicated on the tire.
- Insert the tubeless valve until the rubber base rests firmly and evenly on the rim tape.
- After checking the direction of wheel rotation, install the two beads on the rim, making sure all beads are seated on the bottom of the rim.
- Slowly inflate the tire. Up to a maximum of 1 bar. The beads do not need to snap onto the rim.
Remove the valve core using the valve tool. Inject the appropriate amount of sealant. - Slowly inflate the tire to a maximum of 1 bar. Carefully push the tire inward where it is not in the correct position so that the sealant is spread over the entire tire between the bead and the rim. Do not inflate beyond 1 bar.
- If the tire is fully seated, slowly inflate to 1.5 bar. Rotate the wheel in all directions to ensure an even application of sealant. Do not allow the wheel to bounce and leave it alone.
The above setup should be done at least 12 hours prior to use.
[Maintenance].
Store in a dry place at room temperature, away from light.
After each ride, be sure to remove all particles from the tread that could damage the casing, such as pebbles, glass, metal, etc. Tires should be washed with fresh water.
Even if the bike will not be used for an extended period of time, keep the tires slightly inflated to prevent valve loss.
Rotate the wheels occasionally to ensure that the sealant is evenly distributed throughout the tire.
