DF Mesh Merino is a series of base layers made from Yamatomichi's original fabric, which resolves the shortcomings of traditional 100% merino wool—such as slow drying, stickiness when wet, and heat retention—at a high level.
While maintaining the comfortable feel, odor resistance, and humidity-regulating properties unique to wool, its double-layered (DF=Double Face) mesh structure wicks away sweat for quick drying and prevents heat buildup. It stays warm when layered under a shell and minimizes discomfort through point-contact even when you sweat, making it suitable for high-intensity activities like trail running and fastpacking.
Designed with a slim fit to keep sweat away from the skin, leveraging the fabric's high elasticity and freedom of movement.
