Bob Scales is a bit of a maverick, with a background that includes time at CHRIS KING, and prior to that, stints at GIRO, surf brands, and numerous apparel manufacturers. A new collection has been realized through a collaboration between RAL, Bob, and his longtime friend, artist RUSS POPE , who has deep roots in skate culture.

Russ and Bob have been friends for years, and Bob had asked Russ to serve as an "artist-in-residence" for several projects he was working on at POBS. Coincidentally, seeds had also been sown between SimWorks/Circles and Russ. We had previously discussed the possibility of working together in the future, so things came together very organically, leading to this collaboration where we feature RUSS POPE's art on these RAL and POBS collaboration items.
