While following our planned route, I had a sneaking suspicion, and sure enough, we encountered not only the "plenty of snow still remaining" issue we were worried about, but also a series of instances where large trees had fallen under the weight of the snow, blocking the path.
However, the CRC never turns back. In addition to carrying our bikes and running, we were even able to enjoy a little bit of snow riding.

Even on the routes we frequent, there are still places with snow, but the footsteps of spring are definitely getting closer, bit by bit. The season for road riding is truly arriving. (Even if you ride all year round, it's natural to head out on CX or MTB bikes during the winter.)
