Nagoya was hit with a rare snowfall this weekend, and in the midst of it, the talk of the town online and on social media was the release of the Mr. Pink LTD from ALLCITY—their first new model announcement for 2017.
The Mr. Pink is Allcity’s flagship model. It’s not quite a road racer, nor is it a touring bike; it is best described as a modern sportif that accommodates medium-reach caliper brakes and offers tire clearance up to 32c.

So what makes it "Limited"? While previous models of the Mr. Pink featured a steel fork, this limited edition comes standard with a road-plus carbon fork by Whisky Parts designed specifically for this frame.
This medium-reach carbon fork, which allows for tire clearance up to 32c, even includes fender mounts. When it comes to carbon forks compatible with medium-reach brakes, the only options that come to mind are the Seven original fork or the Wound Up, so this is a highly anticipated new choice.
The frame uses Columbus Zona tubing, and thanks to the updated fork, it has achieved a significant weight reduction without compromising the Mr. Pink’s original concept, resulting in a nimble ride.

The distinct color scheme is inspired by the Eddy Merckx bikes used by the Motorola Cycling Team in the 90s. The performance and weight advantages of pairing a carbon fork with a steel frame are undeniably significant, and it’s refreshing to see Allcity stay true to their own style by expressing this pure concept of enjoying road riding within a mass-produced bike. Bikes created from the perspective of those who ride their gear hard every single day are always worth keeping an eye on.
This is a bike that can handle high-tempo road riding while also letting you confidently navigate dirt and gravel paths. If you want to erase the line between everyday life and adventure with this bike, it would be a great choice to go all out and install some fenders. So, how would you build yours? Please feel free to consult with us.
This frame is a limited production run, and we have received a 49cm frame at Circles. With limited availability and most sizes other than 46cm reportedly already sold out, we recommend acting quickly if you are considering one.
