I returned last week from a month-long stay in the U.S. that included FROSTBIKE and NAHBS.

The trip concluded in Los Angeles. I spent a wonderful time riding and camping in a city inhabited by cheerful and lovely cyclists, including John from The Radavist, as well as the folks at Golden Saddle Cyclery (GSC) and Team Dream.
If you pedal just a little ways out of the city, there is excellent gravel and trails with amazing views overlooking downtown everywhere you turn. While I envy that environment, it also made me appreciate once again that the city I live in also has an environment where I can enjoy riding. Nagoya doesn't lose out to anyone!
Oh, and Kyle from GSC said this:
“When I go off on a trip to some city and it’s time to head home, I’m just so happy. Of course, I have the urge to travel more, but I love this city I live in even more!”

Kyle, who is getting married soon to his long-time partner Liz, requested an RAL / Camp Hat, specifically the 'A' and the 'L'. He said, "I'll give the 'L' to Liz as a present, and I'll wear the 'A'. That makes LA!" So, we gave them to them as a wedding gift.

My own 'L' (pictured on the right), which I've been wearing for nearly half a year, has faded to a nice look.
Yellow with a green 'L' logo is a fairly bold color combination, even by my standards, but it develops a surprisingly nice tone as it fades. If you can pull this color off well, you too can join the ranks of the proud RAL family.
FairEnds caps only get better as you wear them in, making them an essential item I want to wear all the time.

Also, Circles/RAL will have a booth at OFF THE GRID, being held tomorrow, Saturday the 6th, and Sunday the 7th at Machida Shibahiro in Machida City, Tokyo.
At the venue, in addition to the Camp Hat, you can also get a hands-on look at the Player Sweatshirt, the just-arrived BEDROCK / Cairn 3D Pro, and our familiar Loaders series. If you are in the Kanto area, please stop by our booth at Machida Shibahiro this weekend!
