As previously announced, our Monthly Ride series kicks off this month!
The first installment will be a CRC Ride attended by Nabetaku and me. While we usually head toward the Seto area for our rides, this time we are changing things up a bit and extending our route toward Jōkō-ji. I went out for a test ride today to check it out. Although there are a few steep sections, the climbs are relatively short, making it an accessible route for anyone looking for a challenge. Well, leave the climbing to Nabetaku; I’ll be pedaling slowly in the back, so if you’re worried, come join me and we can chat while we climb. Since it’s a mostly paved route, you’re welcome to ride a road bike, cross bike, or whatever you like.
We will meet at Circles at 8:00 AM, head toward Jōkō-ji, and take a short break at a teahouse after crossing the mountain pass. After that, we plan to head to Michi-no-Eki Shinano for lunch and return by around 2:00 PM. It’s also a great idea to come a little early and warm up with some coffee at Early Birds. Of course, everyone is welcome, so please bring your friends and join us!
Meeting Place: Circles
Mainly on-road, approx. 65km
*Don't forget your helmet and other necessary riding gear!
Although it will still be a bit chilly, the forecast for Sunday is sunny, so I hope we can all have a fun ride regardless of the cold. We look forward to seeing you there!
