We're getting excited for the Circles anniversary festival, but before that, we’ve got one more bit of fun in store!
That’s right, on Thursday, November 23rd (a public holiday), at "inn the park" in Numazu, an event that we RC enthusiasts have been waiting for is finally happening. It’s called the "TAMIYA BLOCKHEAD MOTORS RC OUTDOOR FES 2023." This is the first-ever outdoor festival organized by Tamiya and Chiba-based Blockhead Motors, themed around "RC x Outdoors x Art."
Circles will also be exhibiting! We’re planning to showcase our "6-Wheels Life" of RC and bikes. We hope to see everyone from the Kanto region, not just the Tokai area, come out to join us! It looks like this inaugural event is going to be a blast!
RC is Hot
It seems that many of us, and the RC enthusiasts around us, have already spent time with RC cars or Mini 4WDs in the past. We love the classic, enduring RC culture, and we have nothing but true respect for Tamiya and their fans for keeping it alive for so long. It’s amazing that masterpieces like the Avante and Monster Beetle, which we admired in elementary school, are still being produced today and still look so cool. While their legacy lives on, the RC industry is also incredible for continuing to release new-generation chassis. It’s something I want to learn from.
Blockhead Motors
On the other hand, a new generation is emerging that remixes that classic culture so well, and the primary reason our passion for RC was reignited is the presence of Blockhead Motors. You see brands and shops like that in the cycling world, too, don’t you?
Let’s Pack Our RCs and Go Have Fun
So, after building up our RCs again, experiencing both their evolution and their timelessness, and getting ready to play, it suddenly hits you: this goes perfectly with bicycles.
Whether it’s going to a neighborhood park or riverbank, or playing in the mountains on forest trails or at a campsite, the places that are fun for bikes are fun for RCs, too. They’re easy to transport. It’s like adding another toy to the mix. Mixing hobbies is a Circles specialty, and honestly, RC is great!
So, are you getting a little interested now? Come on in, the water’s fine! Join us and get happily hooked on a "6-Wheels Life" of RC and cycling.
