The reason I wanted to start riding a bike (fixed gear),

and the reason I grew to love bicycles,

I believe, is because of “messenger” culture.

I still look up to it even now, but,

I’m TAKA,

and at Circles I’m passionate about

riding bikes, selling bikes,

selling clothes, wearing clothes,

and taking photos.

TAKA.

Now, what I’d like to introduce this time isn’t a “messenger”…

It’s the “Messenger Calendar”!

It’s February already, but you can still use it for 11 more months!

World Courier Calendar 2013 ¥1,470

This is the 2013 calendar for the London Courier Emergency Fund (LCEF),

a fund for injured messengers in London.

This calendar isn’t just any calendar.

The reason is, it’s nude photos.

They’re completely naked!!

Two years ago it was London, last year it was Europe,

and this year it’s an international calendar, exposing

the nakedness of messengers from all over the world.

Messenger work involves riding bikes and carrying cargo, so

it really pushes the body to its limits.

Toned, naked bodies of men and women.

There’s no other calendar as charming as this.

(I don’t mean that in a weird way.)

The participating messengers are from

Montreal, Aarhus, London, Zurich

.......

and it’s quite international, with people from our hometown of Nagoya, Japan, too!

(They’re people I know very well, so I don’t know where to look.)

From the Nagoya messenger company “Daisy Messenger“,

we have “Izuru” and his son “Sohei,”

and Nagoya’s first messenger, “Zukki.”

Production costs are entirely covered by sponsors

from around the world, including us at Circles,

and all proceeds are donated to LCEF and other messenger organizations.

“Buy this calendar and support your local messengers!!”

Why not spend the year with this beautiful bond of messengers across borders, along with their beautiful bodies?

*If you live with your parents, make sure to get their permission before displaying it.

I’d like to introduce some other recommended calendars, too!

Rouleur 2013 Calendar ¥1,890

“Rouleur,” which conveys various road racing scenes through beautiful photos and text.

Cycle EXIF Bicycle Calendar 2013 ¥1,990

Cycle EXIF http://www.cycleexif.com/, a site that

introduces hand-picked custom bikes from around the world

with beautiful photography.
