The Goat Link 11 offsets the position of SHIMANO's 11-speed mountain bike rear derailleur, allowing it to run a wider range of cassettes while improving performance.Hanger Extension

    This project began with the desire to run an 11-speed SHIMANO derailleur and shifter with a SRAM 10-42T XD cassette. This combination certainly works without modification, but the performance is not as good as it should be. But the performance is not as good as it should be.

    Goat Link 11 repositions the rear derailleur so that the free chain length between the cassette and top derailleur pulley is within 1% of what SHIMANO intended, while at the same time improving cassette tooth engagement by 27% at minimum cog.

    Note that the GoatLink 11 is only compatible with SLX M7000, XT M8000, and XTR M9000 series 11-speed Shimano rear derailleurs and can only be installed on standard derailleur hangers.
    *Direct mount frames and SRAM derailleurs are not compatible with GoatLink 11.
