TOMII CYCLES is a custom frame builder in Austin, Texas. Nao Tomii, a.k.a. Nao Tomii, has a unique career, having studied fine arts in the U.S., worked as a sculptor and 3D modeling in Boston, Massachusetts, and then started building frames.
The bicycles he creates have a delicate, nostalgic feel like Indian jewelry, yet are fused with cutting-edge imagery, and the bikes he creates with the motto of making bicycles that are fun to ride have a unique presence.
For the past few years, as well as custom-ordered frames, we have been focusing on the production of beautiful parts such as brass top caps, spacers, and bells.
Even these brass stem caps are individually engraved by Nao's hand, and no two are alike.
All parts are patinaed (chemically changed in color) and then waxed, allowing the brass to age well.
Some of them are inlaid with turquoise, a technique that, like the detail work on his frames, gives them a beautiful Indian jewelry-like finish.
This item would make a great addition to your own bike, or as a gift for a loved one or riding companion.

*Comments from Nao about care
As for the maintenance of the brass parts, all parts have been patinaed (chemical color change) and then waxed. (Because if you do lacquer or clear coat, the texture is not good.)
So the color will change over time (even the grease from your hands will weather it). That is one of the interesting things about brass, but if you wax it regularly (especially after touching it with your hands) or wipe it with a soft cloth, the original patina will last longer. (It's like a jewelry store.) Wax is fine for cars, wood flooring, whatever.

Regarding the delivery of complete bikes
- Please note that a separate shipping fee of 9,900 yen (tax included) will be charged for shipping complete bikes. (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)
- After receiving your order, we will do a final check and ship complete bikes, but it may take 1-2 weeks. Please understand.
- We will send the bike with some parts removed for packing. We strongly recommend that you have your bicycle assembled at your nearest bicycle store.
- We will inform you of the delivery date and other details by e-mail.
- We apologize for any sales discrepancies at the store.
Regarding the delivery of frame sets
- Nationwide flat-rate shipping: 5,500 yen (tax included) (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)

- We will provide the pre-treatment of facing and tapping for the frame sets purchased at our store as a service. We will inform you separately after purchase.
