Sunset Edition, Inspired by the Heart-Stirring Beauty of the Setting Sun

At dusk, the sun burns a fiery red, painting the sky in shades of orange. This time of day, when everything glows in golden light, is known as "The Magic Hour," one of the most beautiful moments of the day.

Inspired by the beauty of such sunsets, PAUL COMPONENT presents the limited "SunSet" collection.

It all began with the "SunRise Collection," planned with NITTO and MKS for this year's MADE Bike Show. When collaborating with Japanese manufacturers in the United States, it felt right to work with an American manufacturer at Bespoked in Japan. This sentiment led to our fourth collaboration with PAUL COMPONENT.

A special anodized finish featuring a gradient of red, orange, and gold, reminiscent of the colors of a sunset.

From Japan to America. From the sunrise in the Far East to the California sunset.

The "SunRise Collection," unveiled at MADE, and the "SunSet Collection," announced at Bespoked. This is SimWorks' 2026 collaboration project, created with like-minded partners across borders.

A V-Brake Masterpiece That Will Be Loved for Generations

The "Motolite," the V-brake PAUL COMPONENT continues to produce with confidence.

Its design remains unchanged as time passes. Although it was introduced approximately 20 years ago, it remains a masterpiece loved by many riders today.

I remember being impressed by its excellent modulation and powerful braking performance when it was first released. Although disc brakes have now taken the lead in terms of stopping power, its ease of maintenance remains outstanding.

Its most distinctive feature is that the brake pad position can be adjusted up and down with a single hex wrench. By allowing 26-inch MTB frames to be converted to 650B, it gives frames equipped with cantilever brake bosses new wheel size options.

Its simple and reliable quick-release mechanism is another feature not to be missed.

Made from 6061 aluminum and precision-machined in Chico, California. Like other PAUL COMPONENT brakes, it features high-precision sealed pivot sleeves. Independent left and right spring adjustment provides excellent response and balanced operation.
