Chris King NoThreadSet™ headsets are designed for long-term serviceability, using Chris King's in-house bearings and precision-machined races. The 1-1/8" models use the patented GripLock® retention system for dependable headset adjustment.

Tapered NoThreadSet™ 1-1/2" brings the classic external-cup Chris King profile to a 34mm upper / 44mm lower tapered headtube.

Correct headtube preparation is important when installing a precision headset. Depending on the frame, reaming or facing may be required.
