Chris King NoThreadSet™ headsets are designed for long-term serviceability, using Chris King's in-house bearings and precision-machined races. The 1-1/8" models use the patented GripLock® retention system for dependable headset adjustment.

NoThreadSet™ 1-1/8" is the standard Chris King external-cup threadless headset for a straight 1-1/8" steerer.

A star nut may not be included with all current shipments. If your fork requires one, Chris King star nuts are available separately.

Correct headtube preparation is important when installing a precision headset. Depending on the frame, reaming or facing may be required.
