Rare New Old Stock of the iconic “Belgium+” rim from the American wheel brand HED. / Head. Introduced at a time when the concept of wide rims was not yet common, it is known as a pioneering model that shaped the trend of modern road wheels.

The wide inner rim width brings out the tire’s true performance, delivering excellent stability and comfort. It has earned high praise for its versatility, from road bikes to gravel bikes and commuter bikes. With an excellent balance of lightness and durability, it remains a staple among hand-built wheels and is still supported by many wheel builders today.

The model we’ve just received is a 28-hole, tubeless-compatible version with rim brakes —a rarity these days. Precisely because disc brakes are now the norm, we highly recommend this wheel to riders who continue to cherish and ride rim-brake bikes. It’s a timeless classic that blends seamlessly with everything from classic chromoly road bikes to modern all-road bikes.
