【19th Anniv.】 19th Anniversary Limited Items & POP-UP Store Announcement 🎁

Circles is 19 years old this year. Year after year, we reach this milestone thanks to the support of so many people.

Today, we’d like to introduce our friends who have prepared special items to celebrate our 19th anniversary, along with those products! It’s a long read, but please be sure to check it out until the end!

TACOMA FUJI RECORD Original T-Shirt

We are truly, truly grateful for our annual T-shirt series collaboration with TACOMA FUJI RECORD. We are so happy they kindly agreed to do it again this year. And believe it or not, the design was handled by Jerry Ukai. It’s a simple, catchy design that is sure to grab your attention!

The main character is a koala.
Why a koala? Well… Nagoya lovers, you already know, don't you?

“No hesitate to drop in for flat tire repairs.”

With that printed on the back, this should definitely be the official Circles staff uniform.

Even a tire pumped to the max will eventually lose pressure. Wearing this shirt should give you the power to pump yourself back up!

TORAYA EQUIPMENT Oval Wide Pants

For the past few years, we’ve been commissioning custom versions of the TORAYA EQUIPMENT Oval Wide Pants. They’ve been so well-received every year that we intended to keep things the same, but this time, we decided to change it up a bit.

Lately, whenever the weather gets cold, I’ve been interested in corduroy pants, and as it happens, TORAYA started making corduroy pants this season! I thought, "This is it!" and asked them to make our anniversary edition in corduroy.

However, using the exact same fabric would be uninspired. We chose a fine-wale corduroy, giving them a slightly more refined look. On top of that, following TORAYA's ideas, we added drawstrings at the cuffs for adjustment, made them easier to slip a smartphone into, and included a key loop.

They come in one color: brown.

MAUNA WEAR Long Sleeve Shirt

Next up, here is this!
Since this is our first time featuring them at Circles, the introduction might be a little long. Haha.

In 2025, with so many event appearances and pop-up stores, we traveled to various places we’d never visited before. Hokkaido was particularly impressive. Through an event called EZO, we spent time in Sapporo and enjoyed the majestic nature with many people. We made many new connections there, one of which is MAUNA WEAR, whom we asked to collaborate for our anniversary.

MAUNA WEAR is an outdoor apparel brand born from the desire to "make the time playing in the mountains more free and more like yourself." The brand name, MAUNA, means "mountain" in Hawaiian, reflecting their love for "mountain clothes" and "wear for enjoying mountains and travel."
Their signature pieces are aloha shirts made from lightweight, quick-drying polyester fabric.

The patterns depict scenes that the creator, Ban-san, has seen in nature while mountain climbing, cycling, and camping. Each shirt is carefully crafted one by one using that fabric.

Usually, you’d order your favorite pattern from the many available at events or pop-up stores and wait a few months to receive it, but this time, they kindly produced this special run for our anniversary.

This pattern, titled "Beyond the Bush Trail," is based on a view I encountered in Niseko, as described in my Hokkaido travelogue from the end of summer. What was on the other side of the tunnel-like bushes that were taller than me!?

Well, it’s filled with my own personal memories, but the balance and colors of this pattern are just great!

This piece is great for wearing when it gets warmer in the spring, but we also recommend wearing it as an outer layer this season.

Norikazu Oe

Norikazu Oe works in the pottery town of Toki, Gifu Prefecture. He gives his all to his fishing hobby and continues to create his works by tapping into the senses he sharpens in nature. He is also a cyclist and one of our dear friends we play with.

His works are incredibly delicate, but Oe-san is very friendly and cheerful when you meet him in person. The vast imagination glimpsed through his pottery feels even more beautiful when combined with his bright personality.

To celebrate Circles' 19th anniversary, he is planning to prepare a "special piece using bicycle parts." We don't even know what it will be yet. We're very excited!

Apparently, he's also preparing some fun plans, so whether you know him or are meeting him for the first time, please look forward to it!

tade qui “sacoche x SACOCHE” Circles Ver

We are also happy to have tade qui making an anniversary item again this year. Since we always carry many of their items at Circles, I'm sure many of you already know them.

This is the masterpiece "sacoche x SACOCHE," which has garnered tremendous support from both staff and customers since tade qui released it this summer. The "sacoche" itself is cute and rounded. With a cord that secures it at the front, it stays fixed in three places, so it won't slide down while you're riding your bike.

And when you have a lot of cargo, the larger "SACOCHE" tucked inside the included pouch comes into play. It has a large capacity, so it's recommended for when you end up buying souvenirs while you're out and about.

We were particularly picky about the fabric this time. We used "KONBU NYLON," a domestic ultra-hard nylon developed by Komatsu Matere in Ishikawa Prefecture. At first glance, it has the texture of canvas, but it’s 100% nylon, making it durable, lightweight, and water-repellent. Since the fabric is stiff enough to stand on its own, it keeps the shape of the sacoche beautiful. It’s available in three colors: black, unbleached, and beige!

19th Anniv BANDANA

Finally, for this year's anniversary bandana, we had Studio Watt, known for the CHAORAS sports tenugui, print our anniversary graphic.

The design was handled by Kotaro Imoto of TUMBLEWEED, who also created the main graphic for this year’s Mori, Michi, Ichi market. It’s turning out incredibly well.

Also keep an eye on the "Ring" (wa) plant that the cyclist is carrying on their front rack. We will continue to cherish the "circle" that we hold so dear.

And finally, a small gift from Circles to those attending the Anniversary Ride & Party

We have one more present for everyone who takes the trouble to come to our party.

We made some spoke reflectors for the first time in a while!
One side features the classic Circles logo, and the other features our 19th-anniversary graphic.

You could call these a badge of our brotherhood. If you see these spoke reflectors sparkling on a bike at Circles or one passing you on the street, you’ve found a comrade. Let’s be friends.

We will be giving one to each person who participates in the anniversary ride and those who come to the party. Look forward to it.

Alright, that’s all for the introduction of our jam-packed limited items. Lastly, we’d like to introduce the pop-up stores that will grace the time around our anniversary celebration.
