I love cycling caps, but I love wearing a simple cap even more. It’s a familiar presence that I can wear all the time, whether I’m on my bike or not.
I decided it was about time to make a RAL camp hat, so I asked our good friends at FairEnds to produce it for us once again.

– About FairEnds –
FairEnds was started in 2011 by Ben, an owner and true cyclist who originally worked in design in Brooklyn, New York, along with his business partner Martin, who still resides in Brooklyn today. Since their founding, they have based their production in California while maintaining an office and studio in Missoula, Montana.
Rather than just making products, they design their caps while imagining the scenery beyond them. Because the two of them are placed in completely different environments—Ben in the expansive nature of Montana, and Martin in the vast metropolis of New York—they have a strong desire to create high-quality caps that can be worn by many different people in many different places. The core of their craftsmanship is to keep things extremely simple and affordable, ensuring they are accessible to everyone.

It’s still fresh in our memory that they made our 10th Anniversary cap for Circles last year. For this RAL collaboration, we asked them for a basic cotton cap that would work for every season, marked with the familiar RAL logo embroidery.
The cap is characterized by a comfortable depth that makes it easy for many people to wear, along with a beautiful silhouette. It's the kind of cap that is easy to wear in any field throughout the seasons, and one you'll find hard to part with. We spent so much time deliberating over the colors that all three are our absolute favorites.
