【Tokyo】 Sept 20 (Sat) - 23 (Tue) 11:00~20:00 At Circles TOKYO
As cyclists, we spend more time outdoors than the average person—not just for special occasions like rides, hikes, or trips, but also for our daily commutes and everyday life.
This summer has been particularly hot, and even as we enter September, there is no sign of that heat letting up. It’s a constant cycle: being out under the intense sun, sweating buckets, then stepping into a comfortable, air-conditioned space.
In these conditions, there is no choice but to spend every day in functional apparel. So, wearing outdoor clothing daily has simply become the norm for us. Compared to standard formal or casual wear, the comfort is just unmatched.
That said, the desire to look stylish in the city is still strong. Recently, we’ve seen more outdoor apparel that erases the boundaries between the city and the mountains, and one brand that caught my eye thinking, "This is great!" is Man-nen-ro. They have exhibited at outdoor events like EZO recently, and I’ve seen more people wearing their gear at such venues. Given that the designer, Mr. Sakashita, has a background in fashion, you can also spot their products in select boutiques.
For this event, we are planning to have a variety of items on hand, with a focus on their new autumn pants. I, for one, am incredibly excited to see what the full lineup will be on the day of the event.
I’m sure many of you have been curious about the brand but haven't had many chances to see the items in person, right?
Since the dates coincide with public holidays, we will be open for four days in both Nagoya and Tokyo, so I hope plenty of you can make it. We look forward to seeing you there!
Man-nen-ro
Man-nen-ro is the Japanese name for rosemary. Its sweet, refreshing fragrance has a way of calming the mind. This plant, native to the Mediterranean, arrived in a faraway eastern land and was given a truly mysterious name.
Perhaps the clothes and tools we use today have also traveled from various places, shifting subtly to suit the lands where they now reside. Man-nen-ro aims to create clothing that fits into contemporary lifestyles. We hope you will wear our pieces in various settings, from town use to camping and the outdoors.
