This time I'm introducing NEMO Equipment (NEMO from here on), which designs its products under the motto "to make everyone's adventures better and more unforgettable."

NEMO (New England Mountain Outfitters), as the name suggests, is an outdoor brand founded in 2002 in the United States (New Hampshire).
It was founded to create gear for people who boldly take on unknown adventures.
Stepping into the unknown opens our hearts, draws trusted companions to us, sharpens our minds and lifts our spirits. Adventure gives us resolve and new perspectives. And it can make us humble at times, and brave at others.
Apparently the brand was born when founder Cam Brensinger, through his own experiences in harsh conditions, felt keenly the need for gear that combined design, comfort and reliability so you could enjoy adventures to the fullest.
No doubt they're out in the field and in the office stretching their imaginations today too.

I was remembering my own first bikepacking trip.
The bags on my bike were all borrowed,
and the rack, loaded up with anything and everything, was just barely clearing the tire...
Even so, that bike, packed with everything I needed to eat, sleep and live, felt incredibly dependable, and it was an experience that made me wish from the bottom of my heart that the adventure would go on forever.
I want to go back to Hokkaido...
Not just kids: grown-ups too
