RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS has solidified its popularity among outdoor enthusiasts, including hikers and cyclists. They are a truly fascinating brand that continues to take on new challenges, having expanded into apparel just last year, taking their products far beyond just bags. They even recently released a product series for the Chinese zodiac, as you may have noticed.

With RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS approaching its 10th anniversary, a wide variety of products have been released over the years, but do you all know what their very first product was?

You might guess it was the Tabitabi Tote or the Beetle, but the original product was actually the Bike’n Hike Post Bag, which gained popularity as a saddlebag that you can wear as a backpack.

That same Bike’n Hike Post Bag is making a comeback in a limited-edition Circles Special version! We will be hosting an order event for it this weekend at our new shop, Circles Tailored. (We apologize for the short notice.)

Production numbers are limited, so don’t miss this opportunity!

I personally have been using mine since its initial release in 2016, and it remains an essential bag that I still love and use to this day.

As the name suggests, the Bike’n Hike Post Bag is designed to be attached to your bike as a saddlebag until you reach the trailhead, where you can then carry it as a backpack to enjoy your hike.
It is also great for bike trips and train-plus-bike travel. It’s perfect for situations where you want to park your bike and do some sightseeing on foot.

The capacity is about 10 liters, which isn’t huge, but if you pack carefully, it’s the perfect size. And while it’s definitely not meant for trail running, the fit is secure enough that you won’t even notice it if you need to pick up the pace and run a little bit.

It hasn’t been in production for a while, but because it’s such a convenient bag, I really wanted more people to have the chance to use it, so I asked the folks at RAWLOW to bring it back.
We chose a fabric for this version that will be used in some of the items releasing next spring. Please look forward to it, as it will have a different vibe than previous versions. (There might even be a sneak peek at some new spring items!)

Ryotaro from RAWLOW MOUNTAIN WORKS will also be at the shop on both days of the event, so this is a great chance to chat directly with him about the brand and their products!
Additionally, we are also hosting a MINIMALIGHT POP-UP at Circles, so be sure to stop by both shops while you’re here!
