—Circles & EarlyBirds Joint Anniversary Party!—
How time flies.
With only a month and a few weeks left in the year, I was just starting to feel a bit wistful about the year coming to an end, when suddenly I hear a voice yelling from behind: "Hey! What are you daydreaming for? You've got a mountain of work to do!"
Well, I suppose that’s true, but before I could even reply that a little wistfulness shouldn't hurt anyone, I was handed a memo that read, "Here, take care of this."
Oh, that’s right! I almost forgot—we have a very important anniversary coming up next month.
It’s already been one year since EarlyBirds opened in a mad dash at the end of last year.
And believe it or not, our parent store, Circles, is coming up on its seventh year.
Looking back at these photos, I can find no words other than gratitude for the many friends who have supported us along the way.
When we didn't know which way was up, you encouraged us, pushed us, and relied on us.
Thank you all so much!
The university student from back then is now a professional standing tall on the front lines, the office worker found a beautiful wife, became a proper husband, and is now working hard at raising children, and that guy who was a messenger has become a top-tier cross-racer competing in the All-Japan Championships—seeing how everyone has grown in their own way makes me truly feel from the bottom of my heart that starting Circles was the best decision I ever made.
So, to express our gratitude and in belief of our continued growth ahead, we would like to hold a Circles & EarlyBirds Joint Anniversary Party this coming Sunday, December 1st! We know it’s a busy time of year, but we’ve planned a variety of things because we really want to celebrate this day with all of you. Please bring your friends and join us!

Location: EarlyBirds Breakfast and Circles
Fee: ¥1,500 per person (includes an anniversary souvenir)
We are planning to provide plenty of homemade pizza, side dishes, snacks, and more.
We’ve got a twin DJ set from the messenger from West Tokyo, "Korogashi Ryota," and Nagoya’s own lone genius messenger, "Izuru." We’re also currently producing the special EarlyBirds "2014 Calendar" and the legendary—for those who know—Circles "Reflector" from our days of youth!
We are truly looking forward to spending a fulfilling and fun time with everyone, and the whole staff can’t wait to see you there!
The beer will be delicious, but let’s keep it civilized—no chugging contests, please... (I have some bitter memories of that.)
