A British brand with over 150 years of tradition
Founder John Boultbee Brooks moved to Birmingham in 1866 and established JB Brooks & Co, a horse saddle and leather goods business on Great Charles Street. He drew inspiration for the business from the unfortunate death of his own beloved horse in 1878.
Unable to afford a new horse, Brooks borrowed a bicycle from a friend, but he was unhappy with the discomfort of the saddle and vowed to do something about it himself.
On October 28, 1882, Mr. Brooks finally applied for a patent for his innovative saddlE
Soon after, a completely new concept of padded comfort saddles was introduced, which was revolutionary at the time, and many cyclists were amazed and praised the saddlE With this success, Brooks began producing handmade, extremely beautiful saddles, bags, and other accessories for bicycles and motorcycles. Today, the Brooks name is known all over the world.
CAMBIUM C17
The nylon-top model introduced as ALL WEATHER series became a standard model and was named C17.
The saddle base is made of Liquidwood, a recyclable resin derived from wood, and is durable against water and sunlight, making it popular as BROOKS' first maintenance-free model.
It is popular with a wide range of riders, from folding bikes to commuters to the recent increase in the number of riders riding gravel.

Regarding the delivery of complete bikes
- Please note that a separate shipping fee of 9,900 yen (tax included) will be charged for shipping complete bikes. (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)
- After receiving your order, we will do a final check and ship complete bikes, but it may take 1-2 weeks. Please understand.
- We will send the bike with some parts removed for packing. We strongly recommend that you have your bicycle assembled at your nearest bicycle store.

- We apologize for any sales discrepancies at the store.
Regarding the delivery of frame sets
- Nationwide flat-rate shipping: 5,500 yen (tax included) (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)
