TUMBLEWEED BICYCLE' s Chromoly Pannier Rack is a versatile, lightweight and rugged design,
with a large platform size, two side support legs to stabilize a variety of pannier bags,triple bottle cage mounts for water bottles and cargo cages This rack offers a variety of ways to transport cargo.
It features 10mm diameter tubing and accommodates a variety of modern pannier bags with adjustable hardware, as well as traditional style pannier bags that attach with hooks.
It is designed to work equally well on the front or rear of most bikes and is available in two leg lengths to accommodate bikes with standard upper and lower rack mounts.
Weight is 533 grams without mounting hardware and 712 grams with all mounting hardware, bolts, and uncut 350mm struts. The total load limit is 45 lbs. including 5 lbs. per set of triple bosses. Loads on the rack platform should be centered on the rack and should not overhang or cantilever off the platform edge.
Installation requires appropriate threaded load support mounting points on the dropouts, seat stays, or fork crowns. If upper rack bosses are not available, seat clamps with integrated rack mounts are available.

Redesigned mounting hardware reduces the occurrence of loose bolts (but as with all racks, hardware tightness should be checked periodically).

*About size selection: There are two choices of heights, 355mm and 380mm. To determine the length, we recommend that you measure the distance from the lower rack mount to the top of the tire, and choose the one that is closer to the value obtained by adding 25-50mm to it.
