Surly Snuggnut 12mm Chain Tensioner

Like other chain tensioning devices designed by Surly, the Snuggnut prevents the rear wheel from sliding forward on the dropout due to the load from the powerful pedals. from sliding forward on the dropout.

It is designed specifically for Surly bikes with 12mm horizontal and vertical slotted dropouts, and is especially well suited for single-speed bikes.

The Snuggnut is CNC machined for durability and good looks and has the same design features as the Tuggnut and Hurdy Gurdy.

*Snuggnut is only compatible with Horizontal through-axle dropouts. *If you use 10/12 adapter washers and QR wheels, use Tuggnut instead.
