Doppo 'High Plains Drifter'
Across the ages, to the mountains, to the city, to the depths of our hearts.
The Doppo "High Plains Drifter" is a bike that returns to the origins of mountain biking while being rebuilt for modern riders. Its riding experience combines the exhilaration of cutting through the wind in a vast field with a gentleness that evokes nostalgic memories.
Meticulously handcrafted in small batches in our Portland, Oregon workshop, this frame effortlessly blends classic style with modern functionality, evoking the feeling of your first bike ride while inspiring new possibilities for your next off-road adventure.
Inheriting the spirit of the "clunkers" born in Marin County in the early 1970s, this bike conveys the rugged and free-spirited style of early MTB, and is sure to be an eye-catcher in the city, on the mountain, and in your own sensibilities.
Enjoy the fun of rigid mountain biking again. Now is the time.

High Plains Drifter Handlebar
This is a handmade handlebar with special specifications developed through teamwork between DOOM BARS and SimWorks.
Designed with balance in mind, SimWorks believes that anyone can enjoy a neutral and comfortable handling feel. From the outside, the rise and backsweep style may look like a casual cruiser type, but it is also perfectly suited for aggressive riding, so we hope you will enjoy it on the trail field.
It's no exaggeration to say that this artistic and highly functional bicycle part, finished with bead blasting and nickel plating, was created with the primary purpose of being installed on off-road explorers ridden by discerning riders. The blog post about the behind-the-scenes story of the part's creation, written by Steven Smith, the designer and manager of SimWorks USA, and Keaton Haire, the founder of DOOM BARS, the manufacturer, is a must-read, so please take a look.
