Description
Sheldon Fender Nut Sets from PROBLEM SOLVERS, a Minnesota-based company that takes our "what ifs" and gives them shapE These extension brake nuts are useful when installing fenders on road bikes. The set includes two nuts, a 13mm or 32mm nut for the front fork (the part that goes into the fork) and a 10mm nut for the frame (the part that goes into the frame). Once the standard brake nut is removed and this is installed, a thread is cut into the back of the bolt to allow the fender mounting bolts to be attached.
This item can also be used as an adapter to attach a light mount to the front rack or rear carrier in addition to attaching fenders, and it can be used in various ways depending on your ingenuity.
Note: This item cannot be installed on forks that require long or thin brake nuts, such as REYNOLDS forks.
