Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the OMNIUM brand manufactures lightweight, fast, and stable cargo bikes for carrying, moving, and traveling.
Designed with 55mm (2.15") tires as standard, the Omnium Mini is the ultimate cargo bike, combining a reliable through-axle with new high-performance dropouts. Able to perform well in Japan, where roads and bike parking spaces are tight, the Mini V3 is the perfect balance of small size, load capacity, and easy handling in this series.
Adjustable rocker dropouts allow for a variety of drivetrain options, from exterior gears with derailleurs to interior gears or belt drive. It can also be set to fixed gears, although this may be very difficult. Interchangeable inserts allow you to choose between through-axle or quick-release, depending on the rear hub end width and gear component selection. We recommend carrying a spare set so that you can easily replace a rear hanger that breaks due to long trips or use in extreme conditions.
Adjustable rocker dropouts are available as a free replacement when you purchase a frame kit. Please select either:
10 x 135 QR with IS brake mount - for internal gear hub or QR rear hub.
12 x 142 thru-axle with IS brake mounts - for thru-axle hubs
All forks are 15 x 100 thru-axle regardless of dropout selection.
The ride and handling of the Mini V3 is truly that of a normal bike. Despite its large front carrier, its manageable size provides comfortable handling and allows it to carry multiple loads with ease. Because the rack support is built directly into the frame, the weight and size of the load has little effect on the steering, allowing the bike to ride with surprising stability.
