Description

DIA COMPE, a manufacturer of bicycle parts with a tradition of over 60 years, started as a rim brake manufacturer in the early Showa period, developing products with safety and reliability in mind as a specialized brake manufacturer. In the postwar period, the company developed caliper brakes under its own brand name, "DIA" brakes, for the first time.

In 1965, the "DIA-COMPE" caliper brake was created using a new forging technology developed in-house and made purely in Japan.
