The Bridgestone MB-3 Comp is a rare combination of 90's MTB design philosophy and American touring culture.
This model is part of the MB series that was developed for the international market,
It reflects the design philosophy of Grant Petersen's time at Bridgestone USA before he started Rivendell Bicycle Works, and is not just an MTB, The MB series is not just a MTB, but a reflection of the culture of riding itself.
The MB series is divided by pipe material, and the MB-3 Comp is a lightweight, racy spec with RITCHEY Logic Super Tubing. In the days when lightness was the most important factor in the race scene to win a few tenths of a second, the performance of the MB-3 Comp was a definite advantage. Today, its nimbleness is only truly appreciated in stop-and-go environments such as riding around town or commuting to work.
The geometry is designed with an emphasis on straight-line stability, with a top tube of 565mm and a seat tube of 430mm. However, the reach is long, so handlebar selection is important. Combining up handlebars or promenade bars will provide both comfort and style.
Only a small number of these bikes were distributed outside of Japan, so the number of units in Japan is very small, making this model very rare. While it has its roots as a race bike, today it is being reevaluated as a sports bike that fits in with everyday life. One of the charms of this frame is to enjoy it in a relaxed style.

- ご購入手続きを頂いた後、最終チェックを行い発送させて頂きますが、1 - 2週間ほどお時間頂く場合がございます。何卒ご理解下さい。
- 梱包の都合上、いくつかのパーツを外した状態でお送り致します。最寄りの自転車店様にて組み付け作業をご依頼することを強くお勧めいたします。
