KUWAHARA has a long history, and was founded in the early 20th century, mainly importing and exporting bicycle parts, but in the 1960s, it began OEM production for American motorcycle manufacturers such as Schwinn, Takara, and Puch. In 1972, we developed our own original BMX and started exporting KUWAHARAR brand BMX to America, Canada, Australia and European countries. After that, in 1982, KUWAHARA's BMX was used in Steven Spielberg's Hollywood movie E.T.
