HESTEA Globe was born in HESTRA, a small town located in the southwestern part of Sweden, a Nordic country. Founder MARTIN launched a company called HESTRA Handsken in 1936 to make gloves used by lumberjacks. Martin noticed that skiers needed durable gloves, and started making ski gloves as a result. The tradition inherited from this founder has led to the development of materials and techniques that are rich in functionality that he could not even imagine today.
