The story of the time when we first experienced what seems to be a mountain bike in Japan in the 1980s, when it was still called MTB or ATB (All Terrain Bike). It's natural now, but the thick and rugged block tires that I've only seen in BE-PAL and Popeye magazines, and the wide straight handlebars made me feel insanely American, and their heavy-duty appearance. Knocked out ... I was completely fascinated.
