VLEO SPICA's must-have winter cap with earflaps

The Pluto Cap series of winter caps with earflaps is now available in the new 2023 colorway. 2023 features an updated nylon fabric as the main fabric.

The Pluto Cap "Bedale" is inspired by the classic hunting jacket, the oiled cotton jacket, and reinterpreted as a winter cap.

The traditional feel is maintained, but the materials have been replaced with modern functional materials. The main fabric of the body has been changed this year to a moisture permeable and water repellent nylon made in Japan. It combines moisture repellency and quick-drying properties, and can cope with changing conditions such as snow and rain. It is a more comfortable cap.

Unlike oiled cotton, it can be washed at home.

Despite its heavy-duty construction and appearance, this winter cap is lightweight at 84g.

The brim has a flex visor with a special treatment that makes it soft, foldable, and easy to keep its shape. The brim can also be flipped up for a wider field of vision, a feature of the velo spica brim.

The brim is made of corduroy, a polyester blend that dries more quickly than 100% cotton. The earpieces can be secured to the hat body with snap buttons and can be worn up. The size can be adjusted with the adjuster on the back.

As with other models, COOLMAX® (five times more moisture absorbent than cotton) is used for the sweatband, which is known for its water absorption and quick-drying properties.

We recommend hand-washing with a mild detergent. When drying, please stretch the fabric lightly, shape the hat, and hang dry in the shade or flat. If using a washing machine, please use a laundry net. If the fabric is left to absorb perspiration, it may turn yellow or discolor, so please wash the hat in moderation.

Flip ups are easier to raise and lower if the adjuster on the back is adjusted so that the tension is slightly tighter.

The brim can be rolled up and folded into a smaller size. Due to the nature of the material, the fabric will become softer after repeated folding. If you are concerned about the shape losing its shape, please use it without folding. The shape will return to normal to some extent by washing in cold water and steam ironing.

The shape of the brim may be deformed if left in a hot place for a long time. When storing, please keep it in a shady place where it will not be exposed to high temperatures.
