What is 11Storm?

ElevenStorm is a tire tread compound newly developed by Hutchinson. It is a high-performance compound that improves the performance of all the elements required for a tire tread: reduced rolling resistance, increased grip, puncture resistance and durability.

Dugas has been using Eleven Storm in its classic cyclocross tires, the Typhoon, Rhino, and Pipisquallo, and has conducted repeated field tests in partnership with top CX racers such as Wout van Aert and Lawrence Sweek.

Tests have resulted in feedback of lower rolling resistance, more grip, and better driving performance compared to conventional treads. This specifically means that the same driving feel can be achieved at one higher air pressure setting than the usual setting. This also means that the risk of punctures is reduced.

What is Neoprene Coating?

During the manufacturing process, a weather-resistant neoprene material is applied to the side casings of the tirE The coating is very thin, so it extends the life of the tire without compromising the tubular tire's suppleness, which is a concern.

In other words, it is no longer necessary to protect the tire sides with AquasurE
