Truth Design is a handmade bag maker based in Portland, Oregon, a natural area with diverse activity fields. Luke Mathers, a maker who specializes in biking, trekking, sailing, surfing, and other marine sports, gathers inspiration from all kinds of fields. He carefully translates these inspirations into form and function to create highly functional bags.
The fabrics used are light, strong, and highly waterproof, such as those used for sailcloth and dry suits. In fact, the bag is surprisingly lightweight, which you can feel the moment you pick it up.
Among Truth's products, this day pack is a backpack designed more for everyday use, such as commuting to work or school. Inside the bag, there is a padded laptop compartment and two mesh pockets with zippers to keep small items separatE The outside pocket is also convenient for keys, smartphones, or other items that you need to get to quickly.
The zippers are made of water-resistant YKK®︎ Aquaguard to minimize rain penetration. The bottom section is equipped with a reflector made by 3M, just like the Drop Liner Back Pack, to enhance safety at night.
FABRIC
- Dacron Sail Cloth Dacron Sail Cloth is used for yacht sails and is lightweight and extremely strong, but because of the importance of human life at sea, it must be replaced every few years before it deteriorates. The dacron sail cloth used by Truth is made from sails that have been removed from the mast, carefully washed, and cut.
- Army Tent Army Tent : A weather-resistant waxed fabric made of tough cotton, this tent fabric was used by the U.S. Army. It is not chemically treated or laminated, but its unique texture gives it a beautiful look that cannot be achieved with the most technologically advanced fabrics. The tent fabric used in this project has been confirmed to have been manufactured in upstate New York in 1953.

Regarding the delivery of complete bikes

- After receiving your order, we will do a final check and ship complete bikes, but it may take 1-2 weeks. Please understand.
- We will send the bike with some parts removed for packing. We strongly recommend that you have your bicycle assembled at your nearest bicycle store.

Regarding the delivery of frame sets
- Nationwide flat-rate shipping: 5,500 yen (tax included) (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)
