Description
Is it super? Is it something?
The steel-framed Super Something, Sklar Bikes' first Taiwan-made production model in 2022, has become a much-loved and incredibly versatile platform for all your riding needs on a variety of surfaces and in a variety of terrains. It has become a favorite of many as an incredibly versatile platform for riding on a variety of surfaces and in a variety of terrains.
The new version of the Super Something retains that design, but with a frame made of light and resilient titanium. Not only does it absorb road sway, conform to uneven terrain, and provide excellent traction and comfort, but it also offers a weight advantage for a metal bike.
While designing hundreds of custom bikes as Sklar Bikes, Adam was inspired to also create bikes "for everyone" that are more easily accessible than custom-ordered bikes "for a specific person".
The Super Something is a production model made in Taiwan with different tubing for each size, original dropouts and headtubes, and exactly what he considers to be Sklar Bikes quality.
It's a bike you'll want to keep with you forever, applicable to any place and any thing.
[DESIGN PHILOSOPHY]
As simple as possible.
Generally speaking, a "gravel bike" is somewhere between a road bike and a mountain bike with fat tires. This bike is positioned at just about 40% of that.
It is not designed to be completely closer to an MTB, because the road bike geometry has the fun of going places, even far away, that you never thought you could go. That said, I am not turning a blind eye to the evolution of bicycle geometry over the past few years. In general, these bikes have a slightly longer reach, and are designed for comfortable handling with a 50-90mm stem. Depending on where you want to ride and what you want to try, you can go with larger or smaller tires.
Trends come and go, but this frame is set up to last and designed to handle the standards you've always relied on.

[FIT GUIDE]
Super Something Titanium is designed with versatility in mind, and is considered a basic design for 700x45c gravel tires with a 70mm stem and drop bar.
Each size is designed to fit as indicated, with the standard set to allow a comfortable position for the recommended saddle height range, combined with a 70mm stem.
Some riders may prefer to size down and use a longer stem and seat post for a more aggressive roadie fit. We also recommend using a longer 90-100mm stem for riser bar or flat bar setups, or going up one frame size if drop bars are not used.
For reference, the expected saddle height (BB center to saddle top) for each size is as follows
- Small : 612 - 700mm
- Medium : 690 - 740mm
- M-L : 710 - 760mm
- Large : 750 - 790mm
