Description
Hunter Cycles, led by the genius frame builder Rick Hunter, is designed and manufactured by a man who has ridden the land of California as much as he can, always pursuing the ultimate in form and function based on his own senses and experiencE
Hunter Cycles is not bound by the confines of so-called categories, such as genres or models, but rather, it creates products without compromise that match the technology it has cultivated and the sensations demanded by cyclists. If you are a cyclist who rides a Hunter Form and Function, your life on the bike is sure to be transformed into the truth.
The Rough Rider offers the best of both worlds in terms of handling and comfort in road conditions that vary from on-road to gravel, which is extremely common in Santa Cruz where Rick has spent many years of his life, and is available in two sizes, 700c and 650b, depending on how you want to play that day. By changing the size of the wheels, you can control your playing field correctly and freely.
Building a bike beautifully and correctly is never about being on the cutting edge of fashion with the latest specs, but about putting the right materials and ideas in the right places with a base of rider-usable specs. The Rough Rider's tubing is made of ultralight tubing that is both light and strong, and it is set up with Hunter's unique segmented fork, so the front end is more than stiff enough to keep the rider relaxed in the cockpit without being too stiff or soft. This allows the rider to relax in the cockpit and concentrate on pedaling and handling.
The set includes a frame and a segmented fork.
The geometry is the same for all three colors.
