Black Diamond was founded in 1989 as a manufacturer by climbers for climbers, taking over from Chouinard Equipment, the company he founded. True to Chouinard's policy of making reliable equipment, the company's goal has always been to develop hard gear of the highest quality.

Rechargeable Headlamps
The rechargeable Revolt has been updated to share the same design as the latest headlamps. Equipped with a new replaceable lithium-ion rechargeable battery, the illumination has been increased to 350 lumens. A second switch for mode selection has been added in addition to the ON/OFF switch, making it even easier to usE
