DESALVO CUSTOM CYCLES Ti Gravel Bike With Enve CX Fork

Description

DeSalvo is located in Ashland, Oregon. DeSalvo is a custom bike manufacturer hosted by Mike DeSalvo, a leading TIG welding master on the U.S. West Coast. He has a large following among local and hard-core Portland bikers.

He is also a TIG welding instructor at UBI (United Bicycle Institute), where he also teaches classes and is always training his successors. In addition, it is a well-known fact in this area that DeSalvo often undertakes OEM work for other custom manufacturers, which can be said to be a proof of their trustworthiness.

This stock frame from DeSalvo is a gravel bike made of titanium, his specialty, and was planned to be exhibited as a show bike at the 2018 NAHBS.

The frame uses oversized tubing and a 142x12mm through-axle rear end, a standard that provides absolute security in modern gravel riding.

The BB shell is Mike's favorite and most basic normal thread, the ENVE CX DISC fork (post-mounted) with 12mm thru-axle is standard, and the rear brake pedestal is an international standard. Shifter arbor guides are provided both front and rear, and of course, the front double assembly is also supported.

The sexy bent seatstay not only looks good, but also serves to reduce push-up in the dirt, and the frame has enough clearance to accommodate up to 700x40c, making this a bike that can be used for a wide range of on-road and dirt riding.
