The ARD44 is an aero wheel designed for serious cyclists, ideal for cyclists who demand full speed on flat terrain, climbs, and corners. These wheels deliver excellent performance on a wide variety of terrain, from flat pavement to rough gravel roads.

The ARD44 wheelset consists of Chris King's R45D hubs and 44mm-height, aero-profile FusionFiber rims that exceed stringent industry standards. This combination provides highly efficient power transfer, high speed, and stability.

Chris King's R45D hubs serve as the perfect core of this wheelset. It has superior in-house bearings, perfectly matched bearing races, an integrated axle, and a flange optimized for lateral stiffness and durability. In addition, it features Chris King's innovative RingDrive™ system, which provides 45 notches of simultaneous engagement for maximum engagement throughout the entire pedal stroke. Chris King uses RingDrive™ bearings with high engagement and super-efficient cores for superior durability.

ARD44 rims feature FusionFiber® thermoplastic technology to create a stable, responsive, and agile ride that helps riders rider fatigue and strain. It also minimizes road feedback and vibration, improving traction and providing a smooth, comfortable ride.

The ARD44 rim has an inner width of 25 mm and an outer width of 30.5 mm to accommodate a wide range of tire sizes, typically up to 47 mm. In addition, the hookless, tubeless rim design optimizes the interface between the tire and rim bed, simplifying installation and maintenance.

What exactly does "Lifetime Warranty" mean?

Lifetime Warranty. We hear it a lot and it can mean a lot of different things regardingdetails. However, any wheelset that uses the new Chris King Fusion Fiber rims is covered by our Lifetime Warranty. In other words, Chris King is always there for you.

What is clear here is that we will replace damaged rims at no charge, adjust the hubs, and schedule rebuilds on a priority basis. Chris King understands that these wheels are a great investment, and we are mindful that you will ride your bike for a lifetime and be satisfied with your purchase.
