Shifter lineup for both drop handlebars and flat handlebars
The 9-speed ADVENT takes advantage of its single-speed front shifter to offer a lineup of drop-bar shifters for drop bars and trail-trigger shifters for flat bars, as well as thumb shifters and bar-end shifters, to provide a wide range of assembly options regardless of your cockpit specifications. It is very reassuring to have a choice of assembly options regardless of cockpit specifications, given the diversification of bike assemblies these days.
If you are currently riding with flat bars but would like to convert to drop bars in the future, you can do so with minimal cost and without the need to replace the bike's components.
Front single/wide range of teeth
The model is designed for adventure riding, with a wide-ratio setup that allows for a simple front single assembly and a wide range of tooth counts to give the rider more freedom. The sprockets are compatible with standard Shimano HG-type cassette bodies, so you are not limited by wheel choices.
SS cage derailleur for small diameter wheels
Acolyte / Advent has a lineup of SS (super short) cage derailleurs for small diameter wheels and children's bikes that are not compatible with wide-range sprockets and long cage derailleurs.
The SS cage derailleur is the best-matched system for small-diameter and children's mountain bikes that actively go off-road.
Off-road, where the chain is more violent and shaky than on-road, and if the distance between the rear derailleur and tire is small, the chain may get caught in the chain and render the bike un-rideable. However, a super short cage reduces the anxiety of such problems.
We are very attracted to this lineup because it allows us to freely assemble cages without being restricted by genre, and it is wallet-friendly.
