DeSalvo Custom Cycles is a custom bike manufacturer hosted by Mike DeSalvo, a leading TIG welding master on the U.S. West Coast who works on frame building, mainly titanium frames, in Ashland, Oregon, USA. As evidenced by his numerous awards at NAHBS (North American Handmade Bike Show), there are many cyclists who absolutely trust his welding skills, and many DeSalvo riders can be found among local and Portland hard-core bikers. He is also a TIG welding instructor at UBI (United Bicycle Institute), where he teaches classes and trains his successors. Another interesting industry story is the fact that the company is often contracted to OEMs for well-known custom motorcycle manufacturers, which is a testament to their trustworthiness.
