Montmartre is a place name in Paris known for its cafes and artist studios.
MontmartreThe bar is inspired by the handlebars for traditional French commuter bikes. Like many traditional French bars, the Montmartre bar is 42 cm wide. Even on the narrow streets of Montmartre, you won't drink too much at the cafe table or hook your Citroën rearview mirrors.
The rise is about 6 cm and the reach is about 18 cm. The grip area is about 12 cm. The stem clamp has a diameter of 25.4mm and the bar is raised rather than a sleeve so it won't be tight. These bars are available in two tube diameters, a 23.8mm road size and a 22.2mm mountain bike size. (Both clamp diameters are 25.4 mm).
The 22.2mm (MTB size) bar can be equipped with an MTB brake lever and a clamp-on shifter. Normal bar end shifter cannot be installed. The only reverse lever that can be installed is the 22.2mm size Dia Compe lever.
The 23.8 mm (road size) bar can be fitted with standard inverse brake levers, standard bar end shifters, and 23.8 mm brake levers.
